Ingredients

  • 50 ml Gold (amber) Rum

  • 45 ml Chilled Hibiscus Tea

  • 15 ml Lime Juice

  • 10ml Demerara Syrup (2 : 1)

  • 5 dashes of Hibiscus & Rose Bitters

  • Optional: 2–3 drops Rose Water

Garnish

  • Mint sprig

  • Tiny edible rosebud

Method

  1. Shake everything with plenty of ice.

  2. Strain into a stemless wine glass heaped with crushed ice.

  3. Crown with mint and a rosebud.

Flavour profile: Tangy hibiscus and bright lime enliven mellow cane-rich rum; rose aromatics float like petals on a summer breeze.
