Velvet Rose

This cocktail is bold yet elegant — perfect for a signature serve at an evening event or launch. The Hibiscus and Rose bitters create a luxurious floral layer that pairs perfectly with lemon's brightness and the fruit-forward lift.


Ingredients

  • 45ml Gin (a floral gin like Bombay Sapphire or Monkey 47 works beautifully)

  • 20ml Fresh lemon juice

  • 15ml Raspberry syrup or grenadine (for colour and fruit complexity)

  • 5 dashes The Bitter Club Hibiscus & Rose Bitters

  • 25ml Soda water (to top, optional for a lighter finish)

Garnish

  • Dried rosebud 


Method

  1. Shake gin, lemon juice, syrup, and bitters with ice.

  2. Strain into a chilled coupe or highball glass (top with soda for a spritz-style serve).

  3. Garnish with dried rosebud.


Flavour profile: Floral, gently tart, refreshing with a lingering bouquet of rose and spice.
