how we started
The Bitter Club began with a simple frustration: bitters are the fastest way to add real depth to a drink, yet most people have no idea how to use them.
So we set out to change that — crafting small-batch bitters in the UK and making them easy to enjoy at home, from cocktails to tonic or sparkling water.
What are bitters?
Bitters are the the secret ingredient used in great drinks. From cocktails to non-alcoholic concoctions, they are the seasoning that take your drinks up a notch.
But before they were behind every great bar in the world, they were medicine, monastery secrets, and naval cure-alls. We wrote the history, from ancient Egypt to your glass.
